Great feedback from a Crinkling News journalist about her experience in the 2015 DADEE program:
“On the first day, we did things we’d never done before, like mountain climbing, and I learnt how to do a proper push-up.
We went once a week for eight weeks. It was fun practising to kick the soccer balls into the net. We learnt underarm throw, overarm throw and basketball bounce.
I could not do any of the skills at first, but now I can do them all. I’m really good at the basketball bounce. I felt really happy when I succeeded.
I learnt that you NEVER give up until you get it right.
On the last day, we had a big race. I felt sad it had ended. I think that you should do the program because it is fun and it keeps you healthy"
